Understanding the impact of extreme events on communities

Extreme events can cause serious damage and disruption to properties and communities. South East Local Land Services (LLS) is seeking your

help to understand how the community plans, prepares, responds and recovers from extreme events like bushfire, drought, flooding, high winds, sea level rise and storm surges.

Community members are invited to attend a workshop at Kiama Leagues Club on 23 May 2014.

The results of this workshop will inform the development of programs that support community and landscape resilience against extreme climatic events into the future.

In order to get the most out of this workshop we seek participation from a diverse range of community members.
