Royal National Park Cabin Communities Landcare Group
Site Description
Royal National Park lies at the northern end of the Illawarra region and boasts a gorgeous range of habitats including rainforests, wet eucalypt forests, grassy woodlands, heathlands and fresh and salt water wetlands. Royal National Park Cabin Communities Landcare Group receives annual support from Wollongong City Council's Rise and Shine program, and they engage in activities such as weeding and rubbish collection as well as some species surveying paying particular attention to cabin communities around Little Garie Beach, Era, Burning Palms and Bulgo. The group is always looking to welcome new volunteers and carries out work in areas such as Little Garie, Bolga, Era, Burning Palms, and the southern end of the Royal National Park.
Meeting Times
The group meets on the third Sunday of every second month and the last meeting was on the 21st of September.
