Symbio Wildlife Gardens

Streamwatch Activities

Symbio was established in 1975 as a small wildlife park and has developed into a prominent wildlife sanctuary and tourist facility. Set amongst 16 acres of natural bushland, and with over 1000 animals, the emphasis at Symbio is to allow you a close and personal experience with our animals where you are allowed to touch, feed and enjoy many of our native animals in their natural surrounds.

Symbio staff have been undertaking Streamwatch testing at five sites in and around the park since 2004. They have a strong commitment to protecting and rehabilitating their local environment and to use their activities to raise environmental awareness of visitors and the local community.
