The Landcare Illawarra Management Committee assists groups and individuals involved in environmental activities.  Its objectives are to:

1. Coordinate information and support for groups and the community involved in environmental activities in the region
2. Support applications for environmental grants
3. Apply for and direct funds to selected activities
4. Provide a connecting voice between the community and the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority
5. Provide a linkage between state government authorities, local councils and the community.

The success of the Management Committee depends on the involvement of a variety of people with different skills.  The Committee currently meets at 6.00 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month at the HACC Centre at Albion Park.
