Landcare Illawarra would like to invite you to a Rainforest and Seed Collecting Workshop and Walk
When: Saturday 27th of March,
Where: Foxground, near Gerringong from 10am – 3pm
Learn about our local rainforests Plant identification, and seed collection skills, The Landcare Illawarra 'Illawarra Woodlands and Rainforest' Project and how you can be involved.
Led by local botanical experts.
10.00 Arrival, morning tea and workshop
Introduction session on the Woodlands and Rainforest Project, and how to get your eye in for plant identification and seed collection
11.00 Guided rainforest walk and talk
Through stunning Illawarra Rainforest on private property.
1.30 Lunch on return to house
2-3.00 Afternoon wrap-up session
Maximum 20 participants, bookings required. Transport available.
Difficulty of walk – this walk is spectacular and steep, so a good level of fitness, sturdy walking shoes, long pants and own water bottle are required.
Morning tea and lunch provided.
This is a free event hosted by Landcare Illawarra and supported by the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority.
