On Wednesday 23 January 2013 there will be a celebration of the new Bush Tucker garden on Wattle Road, adjoining the Barrack Heights Community Garden. From midday there will be lots of activities for young and old commencing with a Welcome to Country from the traditional Aboriginal custodians, followed by bush tucker garden tours, free sausage sizzle and Australian wildlife from Symbio Zoo to see and hold.
You can also find the Barrack Heights Community Garden on Facebook or see www.bhcommunitygarden.blogspot.com.au.
