Landcare in the Illawarra

Landcare Illawarra is a community-based organisation which helps the Illawarra community living in the 3 local council areas of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama on the NSW South Coast to get involved in a broad range of environmental repair activities.

In co-operation with Our Partners, we provide:

  • A range of information services such as our email service to keep you up-to-date
  • Putting you in contact with other rural and urban Landcarers in your area
  • Training workshops on property planning and management, bush regeneration, as well as plant and weed id
  • Advice and assistance with funding opportunities and establishment of Landcare groups
  • Opportunities to participate in activities from on-ground to administration and management

Our Partners:

The Landcare Illawarra Management Committee meets at 6.00 pm on the fourth Thursday of the month at the HACC Centre at Albion Park (Webb Ln, Albion Park). All interested community members are more than welcome to join the meetings and contribute skills and ideas to local Landcare Illawarra projects and efforts.
